Pro-Poor Business Models Workshop Features CIAT
Wednesday kicked off the Pro-Poor Business Models Workshop held at IFAD’s headquarters. The workshop serves as a platform for key actors, including NGOs, farmers’ organizations, private sector actors, and IFAD to discuss current practices and future opportunities to develop and fortify sustainable and inclusive business practices in upcoming projects. Successful case studies provided the basis for the strategic dialogue on how to structure supply chains in such a way that benefits, both economic and social, accrue to diverse actors simultaneously. DAPA’s Senior Researcher Mark Lundy presented at the workshop on building sustained business relationships that contribute to poverty reduction To read more about the first day of the conference, visit the IFAD Social Reporting Blog here.
